Lost Map of Wonderland / Design & Illustration —— Nick Lewis Design worked with ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) and creative agency Sandpit to design and illustrate a series of maps to navigate and explore the internationally touring Wonderland exhibition. Each of the four maps are designed and written to reflect the archetypal Wonderland character and offers a different experience of the exhibition. NFC technology triggers varying audio, video and interactive content. The exhibition explores Lewis Carroll’s timeless and celebrated story of nonsense and fantasy through the more than 40 arthouse and blockbuster cinematic adaptations (of which Jan Švankmajer’s 1988 Alice is a clear highlight!).
